I was saddened to hear about the death of Hargus Robbins recently. “Pig,” as he was known to his fellow A-list session players in Nashville, played keyboards on many of my recordings in the mid-70s. One of the nicest guys I ever met. Here’s one of those songs, Let Me Love You Now, my first single to chart in Billboard’s Top-100 Country Chart in 1977 (I think):
